Our Los Angeles Adventure
Last week, the girls and I hopped on a plane to head to LA for a little business/pleasure trip! I had a wedding and a few sessions, and I wanted to take the girls because WHY NOT! My little sister, Lauren, is a comedian out there, so we stayed with her at her sweet little apartment on the east side of LA in Eagle Rock. Aynslee and Allister were in heaven, spending time with their Auntie Cameron and her kids, Lennon and Beckett, since they live next door to Lauren. On our second to last day, we went to Disney with my college bestie, Renee and her daughter, Emmy! Renee has season tickets which worked out really well for me, since she handled all the Fast Passes and planning! My mental load was eased for the day. SCORE!
Some of the pictures were on the cellphone, but they were too sweet not to include!
The girls really wanted to match for our travels…
We got right down to business with friends at Auntie LoLo’s apartment!
Aunt Lauren has bad ass plants!
First order of business… Hike to the Hollywood sign!
We hustled home, got changed and headed to a new store launch for a friend of Cameron’s! Ayns was very excited about the fashion event!
I really wanted a pictures of the girls and I on the beach in Santa Barbara, so we packed up the kids and headed out.
My sister and Cameron with all our things, heading to the water!
We waited to see this woman get hit by a huge wave. YIKES!
I got my picture! Thanks, Cam!
While trying to get a nice photo of the girls, Alli got hit by a wave. She HATES being wet, so the photos were kind of a bust. Needless to say, she was not happy.
But hey, we got one semi smile!
The kids loved watching people graffiti on the beach of Venice Beach.
Cameron and her kiddos!
This should be an ad for Adidas…
The girls were so excited to be at Disneyland! This was us waiting for the tram from the parking lot!
First stop… MICKEY!
“Will you be taking pics all day, Mother??” - Alli
Alli braved the Incredicoaster!!
And the girls got treats!
We have been taking jumping pictures since college… now we have a new generation of jumpers!
Thank God for portrait mode on Renee’s phone, since mine was dead 💀
The girls loved the parade… and I cried when the girls waved to their favorite characters!
We Survived Disney… all 14 hours!
The next day, Aunt Lauren took us to a hidden dog park where the Hollywood sign was front and center. Alli found a friend… no surprise there!
On our last day, I took the girls on the Swan Paddle Boats, where I got in a sufficient workout awhile the girls took in the views!
We always make such wonderful memories with my sister and friends in LA, and this was no exception. Such a sweet trip <3
