I've structured my wedding experience very intentionally to make sure you’re not only getting stunning photos, but an experience that you’ll remember for a lifetime. Everything I offer and recommend is a thoughtful part of an overall experience that allows you to be fully present while I document every candid, beautiful moment along the way.
Here are the most important, time-tested elements of the KJ Wedding Experience and why we include them:
8 HOUR MINIMUM
I have found that for a traditional wedding day, I need a minimum of 8 hours to capture the full story of your day with a stress-free timeline.
COMPLIMENTARY ENGAGEMENT SESSION
I always include a complimentary engagement session with my wedding packages, as it’s my opportunity to for us to get to know each other before your wedding day! Finding a location that speaks to you both as a couple, planning multiple outfits to make sure you both feel your best… I’ve got you covered! At your session, I’ll walk you through my method of posing and movement to highlight your most authentic selves your images. This way, when it comes to your wedding day, you’ll both be pros in front of the camera.
SECOND PHOTOGRAPHER
A second photographer is a non-negotiable part of our wedding experience. From groom prep to candids, a second photographer is an invaluable way to make sure we have every part of your wedding documented… including those in-between moments you didn’t even know someone was photographing.
MARY POPPINS-STYLE FANNY PACK
You’ve planned the perfect wedding, but that doesn’t always mean everything goes to plan. Over my years of photographing weddings, I’ve seen it ALL, and that’s why my handy Mary Poppins-style fanny pack comes with me to every event. Bandaids? Sticky boob tape? Snacks for the groomsman who got too drunk? Check, check, and check.

I love being both interactive and discreet throughout the wedding day. There will be parts of the wedding day when I will need to be in control in order to accomplish everything that needs to be done in order to keep everyone on schedule. There will also be moments when you shouldn't even know that I'm there. (The ceremony, during dances and toasts, etc.) I teach my couples how to pose and interact during their engagement session so they are naturals on their wedding day!

There's nothing I love more than traveling with my couples to spots that are meaningful to them and their journey together! Whether it's the beach you spent your summer vacations, the park you shared your first kiss, or the college campus where he proposed, I'm down to travel to capture your unique love story!

I average 75-100 final images per hour that I'm actively shooting throughout the day. This estimate is normally on the lower side since I tend to be an over-shooter. I love delivering our client's files quickly and easily via an online gallery. You will have the ability to print, share and download your images as much as you want. I believe in freely sharing my work because that is what I'd would want if l were in your shoes!
